Thank you for your interest in our website. These are the terms and conditions that apply to all participants attending classes, workshops, performances, and events with us.

By booking a class or event with us, you confirm that you have read and agreed to our terms and conditions. It is essential to carefully read these conditions as they govern your participation in all our activities. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the terms and conditions, please feel free to contact us for clarification before making a booking. Your booking serves as a binding agreement and indicates your full understanding and agreement to abide by the rules and guidelines set forth in our terms and conditions.

  1. Registration and Payment:
    1.1. Registration for classes and events must be completed in advance via our online platform or by phone.
    1.2. Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot.
    1.3. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, cash, or electronic transfers.

  2. Refund and Cancellation Policy:
    2.1. All event fees are non-refundable after payment. No refunds are granted for missed registrations.
    2.2. In case of unforeseen circumstances or emergencies, participants may request to reschedule a class, workshop, or performance for the same amount paid. Rescheduling is subject to availability and at Orient’Alp’s discretion.
    2.3. Orient’Alp reserves the right to cancel or postpone classes, workshops, performances, or events due to insufficient participants, instructor availability, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, an alternative will be offered to participants.

  3. Code of Conduct:
    3.1. Participants must be punctual for all classes, workshops, and events.
    3.2. Appropriate dance attire and suitable footwear are required during classes and workshops. Orient’Alp may provide dress recommendations if necessary.
    3.3. Participants must treat other dancers, instructors, assistants, and Orient’Alp staff with respect and courtesy.
    3.4. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in exclusion from the class, workshop, or event without refund.

  4. Health and Safety:
    4.1. Participants must inform Orient’Alp of any medical condition or injury that may affect their safety during classes or events.
    4.2. Orient’Alp reserves the right to deny participation in physical activities to anyone presenting a risk to themselves or others.
    4.3. All participants must follow safety instructions given by instructors during classes and events.

  5. Liability Waiver:
    5.1. Participation in classes, workshops, and events carries inherent risks; each participant assumes full responsibility in case of injury or accident.
    5.2. Orient’Alp, its instructors, and collaborators are not responsible for injuries, damages, losses, or expenses occurring during classes, workshops, performances, or events.

  6. Intellectual Property:
    All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, videos, logos, and graphics, is the property of Orient’Alp and protected by copyright laws. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

  7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
    These terms are governed by Swiss law, regardless of conflict of law principles. Any disputes related to these terms fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts near Château-d’Oex, Switzerland.

  8. Video and Photo Consent:
    By participating in classes, workshops, performances, or events, all participants, including students and their legal guardians (if applicable), as well as instructors, grant Orient’Alp the irrevocable right to capture and use their image, voice, and performance in photos, videos, or other media for promotional and marketing purposes related to Orient’Alp.

  9. Usage Rights:
    We reserve the right to use captured videos and images across various promotional channels, including brochures, flyers, posters, social media, websites, and advertisements, without additional consent or compensation.

  10. Acknowledgment by Students and Parents/Guardians:
    All students and parents/guardians (for minors) confirm they have read, understood, and accepted these terms regarding video and image usage and freely consent to the use of their image as described.

  11. Right to Object:
    Students or parents/guardians may object to the use of videos and images as described. To exercise this right, they must inform us in writing, clearly stating that they do not wish to appear in promotional materials, prior to any payment for classes, workshops, performances, or events.

  12. Disclaimer for Third-Party Use:
    While reasonable measures are taken to protect the privacy and rights of recorded individuals, Orient’Alp cannot be held responsible for the use of such content by third parties once it is made public, shared, or distributed.

  13. Request for Removal:
    Any individual appearing in videos or photos who later wishes to remove their image from promotional materials may submit a written request. We commit to processing such requests promptly.
