Thank you for your interest in our website. These are the terms and conditions that apply to all participants attending classes, workshops, performances, and events with us.

By booking a class or event with us, you confirm that you have read and agreed to our terms and conditions. It is essential to carefully read these conditions as they govern your participation in all our activities. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the terms and conditions, please feel free to contact us for clarification before making a booking. Your booking serves as a binding agreement and indicates your full understanding and agreement to abide by the rules and guidelines set forth in our terms and conditions.

  1. Registration and Payment:
    1.1. Registration for courses and events must be done in advance via our online platform or by telephone.
    1.2. Payment must be made in full at the time of registration to secure a spot.
    1.3. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, cash, or electronic transfers.

  2. Refund and Cancellation Policy:
    2.1. All event fees are non-refundable once paid. No refunds will be given for missed registrations.
    2.2. In case of unforeseen circumstances or emergencies, participants may request to reschedule a class, workshop, or performance for the same amount paid. Rescheduling is subject to availability and at the discretion of Orient'Alp.
    2.3. Orient'Alp reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes, workshops, performances, or events due to insufficient enrollment, instructor unavailability, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered an alternative class, workshop, or event.

  3. Etiquette and Conduct in Class:
    3.1. Participants must arrive on time for all classes, workshops, and events.
    3.2. Appropriate dance attire and shoes must be worn during classes and workshops. Orient'Alp can provide guidance on proper attire if needed.
    3.3. Participants must treat fellow dancers, instructors, volunteers, and Orient'Alp staff with respect and courtesy.
    3.4. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in the participant being asked to leave the class, workshop, or event without a refund.

  4. Health and Safety:
    4.1. Participants must inform Orient'Alp of any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries that may affect their ability to safely participate in classes or events.
    4.2. Orient'Alp reserves the right to refuse participation to individuals with medical conditions that may pose a risk to themselves or others during physical activities.
    4.3. All participants are required to follow safety instructions provided by instructors during classes and events.

  5. Liability and Waiver:
    5.1. Participation in dance classes, workshops, and events carries inherent risks, and all participants agree to assume full responsibility for any injuries or accidents that may occur during their participation.
    5.2. Orient'Alp, its instructors, and staff cannot be held liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or expenses incurred during classes, workshops, performances, or events.

  6. Intellectual Property:
    All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, videos, logos, and graphics, is the property of Orient'Alp and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any content from this website is strictly prohibited.

  7. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction:
    These terms and conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its principles of conflict of laws. Any action or proceeding arising out of or related to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located nearest to Château-d'Oex, Switzerland.

  8. Video and Photo Consent:
    By attending classes, workshops, performances, or events, all participants, including students and their legal guardians (if applicable), as well as instructors, hereby grant Orient'Alp the irrevocable right and permission to capture and use their likeness, image, voice, and performance in photographs, videos, or any other recording medium for promotional and marketing purposes related to Orient'Alp.

  9. Right to Use:
    We reserve the right to use the videos and images captured in various promotional materials, including but not limited to brochures, flyers, posters, social media, websites, and advertisements, without requiring additional consent or compensation.

  10. Student and Parent/Guardian Acknowledgment:
    All students and parents/guardians (for minor students) acknowledge having read and understood the terms and conditions of this video and image release and voluntarily consent to the use of their likeness, image, voice, and performance as described herein.

  11. Opt-Out Option:
    Students or parents/guardians may choose not to give consent for the use of videos and images as described in this document. To exercise this option, individuals must inform us in writing and clearly indicate their desire not to be included in promotional materials before any payments for classes, workshops, performances, or events.

  12. Third-Party Use Disclaimer:
    While we take reasonable precautions to protect the privacy and rights of individuals captured in videos and images, Orient'Alp cannot be held responsible for the use of such materials by third parties once they have been made public, shared, or distributed.

  13. Request for Removal:
    If an individual captured in videos or images later decides to have their image or likeness removed from promotional materials, they may request removal in writing. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests in a timely manner.

  15. By registering for our classes, workshops, performances, or events, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the above terms and conditions.
