OPENING NIGHT "ECHOES OF THE ALPS AND THE ORIENT"

The Orient'Alp Festival will open its edition with an evening blending Swiss traditions and the wealth of the world, featuring a program combining music, dance, and gastronomy.

Discover the magic of the Hang, performed by Jeff Widmer and the Gu Band, for a unique musical experience. The group Svi Tanok, supported by the Ukrainian Women's Association in Switzerland, will present traditional choreography and costumes. A dozen dancers will take you through the rhythms and colors from around the world. To close the evening, the Ténors de la Févigne, a Fribourg vocal group, will offer an emotional performance combining the tradition and modernity of Swiss songs.

To enhance this evening, a typically Swiss meal: Raclette from Pays-d’Enhaut accompanied by double cream from Gruyère.

Svi Tanok
Founded in 2023 and supported by the Ukrainian Women's Association in Switzerland, the Svi Tanok group offers a vibrant and dynamic performance. With energetic choreography and magnificent traditional costumes, this group highlights the authenticity and diversity of Ukrainian culture through a colorful and captivating show.

The Ténors de la Févigne
A Fribourg vocal group whose fame continues to grow. After their appearance on The Voice in Paris, The Ténors de la Févigne return to the stage to offer a repertoire that blends tradition and modernity. Their emotional and friendly performance is sure to leave a lasting impression and captivate all audiences.

Open Stage

Seven dancers will take you on a journey through the rhythms and cultures of the world. Their performances will highlight the richness of dance and traditions from around the globe.
